Care Instructions

Flower Care

While admiring your beautiful bouquet and enjoying your refreshing cocktail as at home, here are a few tips to extend the life of your blooms.

The collection of flowers you picked can create many stunning arrangements. Let each bloom shine by giving them space to breathe. Utilize different vase sizes to accommodate shorter stems to create a beautiful display.

1. Trim the Stems

When you get home with your flowers, trim about an inch off the bottom of each stem. This allows better water absorption.

2. Not All Flowers are Created Equal

Some varieties have softer stems and naturally have shorter vase lives.

3. Remove Leaves

Remove any leaves that will be submerged in water. Leaves can decay and promote bacterial growth, shortening the flowers’ lifespan.

4. Use Clean Water

Fill a clean vase with room temperature water. Make sure all stems are submerged in water.

5. Change Water Regularly

Replace the water daily. For best results, clean the vase each time to remove bacteria and ensure freshness. This is best practice to extend the life of your flowers.

6. Keep Away from Heat and Drafts

Place the bouquet in a cool spot away from direct sunlight, heaters, or drafts. Heat can cause wilting, while drafts accelerate dehydration.

7. Remove Wilting Flowers

Remove any flowers that wilt or fade early to encourage the remaining flowers to stay fresh longer.

8. Enjoy and Share

Display your bouquet where you can admire it, some people move it from room to room. Consider sharing the joy by gifting flowers and a bottle of Black Fox to brighten their day.
