Honeyberry Sangria
Created by the Prairie Research Kitchen at Red River College, this sangria is a true reflection of the Canadian prairies. Honeyberry, also known as Haskap, is one of nature’s most resilient berries, surviving even the harshest Canadian climates.

Ingredients
1.5 oz Black Fox Haskap Gin
3 Raspberries
3 Blackberries
1 oz Pink grapefruit juice
4 oz Dry white wine
1 oz Simple syrup
1 oz Soda
Directions
To make the simple syrup add equal parts of sugar and water to a saucepan and stir over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved. Let cool completely before adding to the cocktail.
Prepare berries halved and add to a large wine glass. Add gin, simple syrup, grapefruit juice, and wine. Add ice, leaving 1 inch of space at the top of the glass. Stir to combine. Top with soda and garnish with grapefruit wedge.
