Created by the Prairie Research Kitchen at Red River College using our Oaked Gin, this cocktail is a Japanese twist on the classic Old Fashioned.
2 oz Black Fox Oaked Gin
0.75 oz Gekkeikan plum wine
0.5 oz Maple syrup
4-5 dashes Angostura bitters
Combine all ingredients in a mixing glass. Fill with ice and stir until chilled. Strain into a chilled rocks glass and garnish with orange peel.
